The purpose of the Evaluation of the
Impact of Teacher Induction Programs is to evaluate the impact of
comprehensive teacher induction programs on teacher retention,
classroom practices, and student achievement. The evaluation
employs a random assignment design to compare the outcomes of the
teachers who are provided with a comprehensive induction program
with the outcomes of teachers who receive their district's normal
induction program.
