these new items prior to implementation and to consider the results
of the pilot test in the final decision to add the questions. The

The Elementary and Secondary School
Civil Rights Compliance Report is a biennial survey which collects
data from schools and school districts on issues, incuding emerging
issues, of interest to the Office of Civil Rights, U.S. Department
of Education. Data from the Compliance Report is used by OCR to aid
in identifying sites for compliance reviews and tracking trends and
issues related to civil rights compliance. The Compliance Report
collects data related to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964
(which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or
national origin), Title IX of the Education...
