Approved as
amended by ED's memo to OMB of 4/27/98. In addition ED will
coordinate these results with any student achievement data that is
obtained from the PES Evaluation of National Public Charter
Schools. ED will continue their efforts to maximize the number of
comparative site schools that participate in academic achievement
testing. In asking about the choice to work at a charter school, ED
will revise the teacher and parent conversion surveys in order to
provide more explicit instructions to those parents who enrolled
their children pre-conversion and those teachers who started
employment at the school pre-conversion.
