The third cycle of the NSOPF is being
conducted in response to a continuing need for data on faculty and
instructors. The study will provide information about faculty in
postsecondary institutions, which is key to learning about the
quality of education and research in these institutions. The study
will expand the information about faculty and instructional staff
in two ways--allowing comparison to be made over time and examining
critical issues surrounding faculty that have developed since the
first two studies. This clearance request covers filed test and
full scale activities for the second....
