We have made three changes to our study: 1) The study sample will include 6th grade teachers and students, in addition to previously planned 7th grade teachers and students. This change does not impact burden estimates in any way as teacher
and student sample sizes remain the same. 2) Because teachers in the intervention condition will spend approximately 7 hours outside of regular contract hours preparing for classroom implementation of instructional activities associated with their
intervention participation, we have increased the teacher payment amount to account for this. This results in a total payment per teacher of $830: $325 for involvement in data collection activities, and $505 for the 7 hours spent outside of contract
hours preparing for classroom implementation of intervention activities. The same compensation will be provided to teachers in the comparison condition in the subsequent school year, when the intervention is provided to those teachers after the
conclusion of the study. 3) To allow additional time for participant recruitment, the intervention implementation has shifted from the 2023/24 school year to the 2024/25 school year.
