Evaluation for soliciting feedback on human papillomavirus (HPV) and Oropharyngeal Cancer lecture
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this collection is to assess participant knowledge and practices related to HPV and oropharyngeal cancer, pre and post lecture. The presenter, a non-IHS dental school researcher, will be analyzing and summarizing the results. If there are any products such as presentations, abstracts, publications, IHS staff might also be co-authors. The information will be used to improve IHS health services by identifying potential opportunities to better promote the HPV vaccination for AI/AN youth and young adults.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONDENTS:
The IHS Dental Updates meeting will be held on June 10-13, 2019, in Albuquerque, NM. Approximately 500 IHS/Tribal/Urban dentists, hygienists, dental therapists, and assistants are anticipated to attend. The respondents of this collection would be attendees of the plenary session entitled “HPV and Oropharyngeal Cancer,” on Wednesday, June 12th.

The respondents would be attendees of the IHS Dental Updates meeting plenary session entitled “HPV and Oropharyngeal Cancer,” on Wednesday, June 12th. However, the one month post-lecture evaluation would be emailed to all IHS Dental Updates registrants, because we are unable to send the evaluation to lecture attendees only. The email will instruct lecture participants to complete the online evaluation.
