Justification for Burden Increase
An increase in burden hours (40,000) and responses (105,000) is due to an expected increase in the use of patient/customer satisfaction surveys at IHS hospitals and clinics, as a result of the Improving Patient Care initiative and in order for these entities to meet Joint Commission and other health organization's (i.e., state) accreditation standards.
