This information collection is used by
the U.S. Department of Education to gather annual performance and
financial data from eligible agencies under the Carl D. Perkins
Career and Technical Education Act of 2006 as amended by the
Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century
Act (Public Law 115-224). We are proposing to revise the ICR to
remove the option to report enrollment and performance data via the
EDFacts system, amend the Fiscal Responsibility section of the
Narrative Performance Report to collect additional data about
subgrants and their recipients, and to make clarifying changes to
some of the instructions.

The increase in 1,725 burden
hours is the result of the implementation in FY 2021 of the new
requirements of the Strengthening Career and Technical Education
for the 21st Century Act, particularly the new performance
reporting requirements, an administrative change to improve the
quality of fiscal data collected in 53 burden hours, and a change
in the agency estimate of burden to correct an error in the 2019
notice of action for 9,558 burden hours.
