The approved ICR incorrectly asks respondents to disaggregate data on the participation and outcomes of postsecondary students who are migrants. The revision removes this category on the forms related to postsecondary education because the migrants category does not apply to postsecondary education (delete line 21 on the forms IVB 1b, IVB 2b, IVB:3 1P1, 2P1, and 3P1; insert “(Secondary only)” after “Migrant Students” on page 33.)

There is a program change decrease of -7724 annual burden hours and an adjustment decrease of -1 response. The reduction in burden hours is the result of the decision to collect all performance data from states through the U.S. Department of Education’s EdFacts Submission System (ESS), rather than through this information collection request. The adjustment to the annual burden inventor for this collection of data is also a result of the enactment of the Perkins V Act and implementation of the new legislative provisions and requirements.
