Educational Opportunity Centers
Program (EOC) grantees must submit the report annually. The report
provides the Department of Education with information needed to
evaluate a grantee's performance and compliance with program
requirements and to award prior experience points in accordance
with the program regulations. The data collection is also
aggregated to provide information on project participants and
program outcomes.
The number of respondents has
decreased from 165 to 140, causing a decrease of 200 hours in the
total annual burden hours compared to the previous clearance. The
decrease in the number of EOC projects funded is a result of 25
projects not meeting substantial progress and therefore not
receiving continuation funding in FY 18. Therefore, the number of
projects currently completing the EOC APR is 140 grantees.
