The Historically Black Colleges and
Universities (HBCU) Program and the Student Aid and Fiscal
Responsibility Act (SAFRA) of 2009 are authorized by Title III,
Part B and Part F. The purpose of these programs is to provide
historically Black institutions with resources to establish or
strengthen their physical plants, financial management, academic
resources, and endowments.
The HBCU/SAFRA application
package is a reinstatement of a previously approved collection.
Therefore, all burden is new.
