The College Access Challenge Grant (CACG) statute requires grantees to submit an annual performance report that contains activities and services that have been implemented, the cost of providing such activities and services, the number of participating students, and contributions from private organizations. The U.S. Department of Education is collecting this information to ensure that states are complying with statutory requirements, grantees are making significant progress in meeting goals and objectives and that funds are being spent in an allowable, allocable, and reasonable manner.
