Annual Evaluation Report

Each State Correctional Education Agency (SCEA) shall submit an annual report to the Secretary of Education and the Attorney General of the United States on the results of the evaluation conducted using the methods and performance measures contained in the State application.

The State annual evaluation report must describe the results of evaluations conducted using the methods and performance measures contained in the SCEA’s application. The State annual evaluation must also address the GPRA indicator assigned to this program. The methods and performance measures must be appropriate to meet the goals and objectives of the Youth Offenders Program described in the SCEA’s application. The methods and measures must include measures of—

• Program completion;

• Student academic and vocational skill attainment;

• Success in job placement and retention;

• Recidivism;

• Participation in postsecondary education, postsecondary vocational training, and related services; and

• Post-release assistance programs.
