EIA's Uranium Data Program collects
basic data necessary to meet EIA's legislative mandates as well as
the needs of EIA's public and private customers. Data collected
include uraniam exploration, reserves, production, processing, and
marketing. The data are used for analyses and publications.
Respondents include firms and individuals that comprise the U.S.
uranium industry.
Cause of the increase due to
agency discretions (+110 hours) is due to adding elements to the
form, which increased the burden per response on the form EIA-851A.
The cause of the increase in burden hours due to adjustments (+236
hours) is due to the change in the number of respondents.
