The NCEE Contamination Sub-Study List of Participating Studies that
will submit 83C Forms.

We previously applied for and received approval to add 9 questions to the teacher follow
up survey of 6 REL program studies as part of NCEE’s contamination sub-study. At this
time, I am requesting the same approval for the following 3 REL studies:
1. 1850-0840, A Study of the Effects of Using Classroom Assessment for Student
Learning (CASL)
2. 1850-0838, A Study of the Effectiveness of a School Improvement Intervention
(Success in Sight)
3. 1850-0847, Evaluation of Principles-Based Professional Development to Improve
Comprehension for English Language Learners
We request approval of the addition of these nine questions to the first follow up teacher
surveys which results in an additional 10 minutes of burden:
We would like to learn about teachers’ experiences collaborating with other teachers in their
schools. Please think about both formal activities at your school intended to encourage
collaboration and informal conversations you have with other teachers.
