The MMS collects the information to
determine whether an OCS facility will have a significant effect on
the air quality and readiness of an offshore lessee to prevent or
contain pollution in offshore waters. Respondents are Outer
Continental Shelf Federal oil and gas and sulphur lessees and/or
operators.
The currently approved OMB
inventory is 226,451 burden hours for 30 CFR Part 250, Subpart C
requirements for this collection. This submissions requests
198,866. The adjustment decrease of 27,585 hours is due to
re-estimating the average number of annual responses and the hour
burden required to respond based on consultations.
