Terms of Clearance: Approved with changes to the burden to include burden reduction because of the removal of 2 data element requirements from previous clearances. Approval is granted for 1.5 years in order to allow ED time to implement race/ethnicity requirements in line with OMB race/ethnicity standards. OVAE shall continue to explore options for streamlining the data collection and make the collection more effective, including but not limited to changes during reauthorization.

Abstract: The information contained in the Consolidated Annual Performance Report for Vocational Technical Education is needed to monitor State performance of the activities and services funded under the Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Technical Education Act of 1998. The respondents include eligible agencies in 54 states and insular areas. This revision clarfies instructions and definition eliminates the collection of some data elements.
