Congress has mandated that reports be
produced using the data from the National Assessment of Educational
Progress. This grant program will encourage researchers to study
the NAEP data and expand our understanding of the relationship
between school and student characteristics and academic
achievement. Grant applicants will be universities, educational
research organizations, and consulting firms. This collection falls
under the Streamlined Discretionary Grant Program,
1890-0001.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
