Abstract: This submission requests clearance to revise the currently approved collection due to Amendment 5 to Fishery Management Plan for Bottomfish and Seamount Groundfish of the Western Pacific Region. Amendment 5 would establish a limited access program for the bottomfish fishery in the Mau Zone, Northwestern Hawaiian Islands (NWHI). Additional information is need by NMFS to determine eligibility for issuance of initial Mau Zone limited access permits and subsequent renewal of permits.
