Reinstatement with change of a previously approved collection
The tobacco use supplement to the
Current Population Survey conducted by the Bureau of the Census
will collect data from the civilian, non-institutionalized
population on tobacco use and smoking prevalence, smoking
intervention dissemination of workplace smoking policies and
cessation programs, and changes in smoking norms and attitudes. The
data will be used by the NCI to evaluate the effectiveness of the
ASSIST.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
