The Technology Literacy Challenge Fund
is a new program to help schools prepare students fo the 21st
century. State education agencies (SEAs) will receive formula
grants designed to assist local education agencies (LEAs) in
achieving four goals for technology in education: Train teachers to
help students learn using technology; provide access to computers
in the classroom; connect every classroom to the information
superhighway; and integrate effective software and on-line
resources into every school's curriculum.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).

the proposed collection of information, that the certification
