OMB endorses
ED's proposal to automate the information previously submitted by
hand on the SF-424. Approval is conditional on ED's implementation
of its commitment that no grantee will have to complete both this
automated form and the manual SF-424; overall burden for ED grant
applicants will be reduced as well, which ED shall reflect as
appropriate in future grant applications. Last, ED shall revise the
burden disclosure paragraph to insert the new, simplified language
on which ED and OMB agreed.
