In addition, we note that these case studies are a component of the full National Assessment, intended to provide in-depth information that illustrates findings of the nationally representative surveys. -- ED also intends to collect information on the impact of the new requirement that makes a single course of study eligible for funding; the NAVE shall collect other information in this area to the extent possible, in addition to the national findings from NCES transcript studies.
