Since HUD has
failed to provide the information previously requested by OMB, the
new rent increase budget worksheet and spreadsheet are not approved
for use. HUD must provide the information previously requested by
OMB to obtain approval of the new rent increase budget worksheet
and spreadsheet in any future requests for OMB review and approval.
We note that HUD has allowed the OMB approval for the "old" budget
worksheet to expire. OMB does not have an objection to the use of
that worksheet, and recommends that HUD submit it as soon as
possible for review under the Paperwork Reduction Act.
