Abstract: THIS SURVEY OF 1,300 HOUSEHOLDS NATIONWIDE WILL EXAMINE PERCEPTIONS OF SECONDARY SCHOOLS AND THE DEPTH OF PUBLIC SUPPORT FOR EFFORTS TO RAISE ACADEMIC STANDARDS. THE RESULTS WILL ASSIST POLICY MAKERS AT ALL LEVE WHO SEEK TO IMPROVE SECONDARD SCHOOLS AND NEED PRACTICAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE PUBLIC'S OPINION ON THESE MATTERS.
