TITLE III UNDER THE OLDER AMERICANS
ACT REQUIRES EACH STATE AGENCY ON AGING TO SUBMIT A STATE PLAN ON
AGING FOR THE COMMISSIONER'S APPROVAL AS A CONDITION FOR RECEIVING
FORMULA GRANT FUNDS. EACH STATE DEFINES ITS OBJECTIVES FOR A
STATE-WIDE COMPREHENSIVE AND COORDINATED SYSTEM O SERVICES FOR
OLDER PERSONS IN NEED OF SUCH SERVICES.
