Thank you for recently completing your final Medical Expenditure Panel Survey interview. Your participation in MEPS has been vital in our efforts to obtain complete and accurate information about our healthcare system for AHRQ.

To help us improve the quality of information we collect in the future, we would like to invite you to take part in a special follow-up study to explore new ways of collecting information for MEPS.

This special study has two parts. Part One is a 30-minute Zoom interview where an interviewer will observe you as you answer a short web survey about your household’s recent health care events. Part Two is a 90-minute group discussion with other MEPS respondents on Zoom to talk about your overall experiences participating in MEPS.

As tokens of appreciation for your time, we will email you a $25 electronic gift card for participating in Part One, and a $75 gift card for participating in Part Two.
