This is a request by the Health
Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Maternal and Child
Health Bureau (MCHB) for Office of Management and Budget (OMB)
approval to revise the collection of information from public and
private agencies or organizations engaged in demonstrations,
research, training, or other projects that receive funding from the
Special Projects of Regional and National Significance (SPRANS) and
Community Integrated Service Systems (CISS) federal discretionary
grant programs, and other categorical discretionary grant
programs.

The current inventory for this
activity is 17,616 hours, a reduction of 7,584 burden hours
compared to the estimate in the previous Federal Register notice
(87 FR 3313) published on January 21, 2022. Most programs have a
limited number of forms assigned (5 to 7), with only Workforce and
Training, EMSC, Healthy Start, and Family-to-Family programs
reporting additional program-specific measures as part of these
discretionary grant performance measures. The supporting statement
lists the total number of respondents as 807, which is different
from 9,236 listed number of responses in ROCIS and the Supporting
Statement. The number of grantees listed in the supporting
statement is an estimate as it fluctuates each year.
