This memo requests approval of changes to the approved information collection, Annual Data Collection on Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment Involving Unaccompanied Children, approved under the Generic for ACF Program Monitoring Activities (OMB #0970-0558).

Background

The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) received approval from OMB to collect information to meet the requirements of the Interim Final Rule (IFR) on Standards to Prevent, Detect, and Respond to Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment Involving Unaccompanied Children, which requires care provider programs to aggregate and provide to ORR incident-based sexual abuse and sexual harassment data on an annual basis (45 CFR 411.102(d)).

Since approval, the number of care provider programs has grown.

Overview of Requested Changes

This request is to increase the estimated number of respondents from 235 to 300 programs. There are no other changes proposed.
