The Annual Vital Statistics Report
Form is used by State and/or county vital registration offices to
report annual counts of marriages, and divorces/annulments to the
Federal government in support of the National Vital Statistics
System. The birth, death, and infant death counts from states and
territories are now arriving via electronic files either daily or
weekly.

NCHS is requesting 46 total
burden hours. Decrease of 93 hours because of the revision to
discontinue the use of the monthly report for birth, death, and
infant death.
