PROTOCOL FOR COLLECTION OF AGGREGATE STATISTICS |
Purpose: We will use aggregate statistics to support our evaluation, focusing on data system contents, linking results, and ultimate system and client outcomes. |
Data Collection: We will use our contacts with the technical assistance provider (TAP) and semi-structured interviews to facilitate procuring aggregate statistics. We will work with the TAP to gather these data from jurisdictions quarterly. |
We will collect a core set of measures (phase 1), followed by an additional set of phase 2 measures. Phase 2 measures will only be phased in once sites accomplish phase 1 reporting. We will coordinate with the TAP to determine when phase 2 reporting will occur. Readiness may vary by jurisdcition.
We provide a summary overview of measures and samples in the "Summary Measures" and "Summary Samples" sheets. |
Reporting Templates: The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB) performance measures and measures related to STI and HIV surveillance data are provided in the "Detailed HAB PM & Addl. Measures" sheet. These measures apply to all jurisdictions. |
The measures related to the TAP-identified TA focus areas are provided in the "Jurisdiction TA Measures" sheet. We indicate which measures apply to all jurisdictions and the measures specific to the individual jurisdictions based on TA needs. |
We provide measure descriptions, and if applicable, specifications for numerators, denominators, and exclusion criteria. |
For further guidance on the HAB performance measures, please refer to: https://hab.hrsa.gov/clinical-quality-management/performance-measure-portfolio |
All aggregate data will be submitted securely using Box. |
Note: Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program is abbreviated as RWHAP in this document |
Phase 1 Samples: All PWH; separately, RWHAP clients Stratified by: Age, sex at birth, gender identity, race/ethnicity, and risk categories* |
Phase 2 Samples: All PWH; separately, RWHAP clients; PWH with an STI co-infection;** separately RWHAP clients with an STI co-infection Stratified by: Age, sex at birth, gender identity, race/ethnicity, and risk categories* |
