Note: Households that did not participate could have been ineligible (did not meet the residency requirement), uninterested, or unreachable.
The recruitment approaches used are consistent with the PFAS Exposure Assessment Protocol. For the smaller samples frames (<3,000 households), random selection became a convenience sample because all households in the sample frame were invited to attempt to maximize the number of participants.
