The Intergovernmental Reference Guide
(IRG) provides a centralized and automated repository of state and
tribal profiles that contain essential high-level descriptions of
each entity's programs and procedures, which allows access to that
information by state, tribal, and international child support
enforcement agencies to more efficiently process intergovernmental
child support cases and to decrease costs by avoiding multiple
searches for case processing information. This request is for a
revision of a currently approved information collection to address
requests for changes from state and tribal agencies. More robust
changes are expected prior to January 2022, after OCSE convenes a
workgroup specific to the IRG information collection.
