You are receiving this notification because you have an account or have requested an account in one or more of the
training applications and resources hosted by the Defense Acquisition University (DAU). These applications include
the Virtual Campus (learn.dau.mil), communities of practice hosted on Acquisition Community Connection
(acc.dau mil), and other knowledge sharing resources like the Defense Acquisition Portal (dap.dau.mil).
DAU is in the process of implementing a Single Sign-On (SSO) capability which will allow users to authenticate
once and have access to multiple applications within DAU for which they have privileges. SSO will be deployed in
a phased roll out over the next 6 weeks.
Please retain this email as it contains your single sign-on username. We request that you access the single sign-on
application to setup your profile in advance of the roll out of the individual applications while you have this email in
hand.
Step 1: Go to DAU Identity Management page. https://identity.dau mil/
Step 2: Login using your username and temporary password (e-mailed separately).

The system will prompt you to change your password and setup security questions. It should take only a few
minutes to setup your profile. Taking the time now to complete this step will expedite your access to single sign-on
once we have deployed the capability to the individual systems.

You will receive additional email notifications that will inform you when the individual systems (e.g., Virtual
Campus, ACC, DAP) have implemented the single sign-on capability.
Please continue to access these DAU systems as you normally do until you receive a notification that single sign-on
has been implemented for that system.
