Background Information
Accidents and Incidents are now collected in the Asset Protection
Information System that includes the entire case from the date the
accident/incident occurs to case transfer or closure; as such the
disposition must be updated based in the following regulations/laws:

the Air Force; 10 U.S.C. 2481, Defense Commissary and Exchange
Systems: Existence and Purpose; Army Regulation 215-8/AFI

29 CFR, Part 1960, Basic Program Elements for Federal Employee
OSHA and Related Matters; E.O. 12196, Occupational Safety and
Health Programs for Federal Employees; Public Law 104-191, “Health
Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996; Federal Claims
Collection Act of 1966 (Pub.L 89-508, as amended); Debt Collection
Act of 1982 (Pub.L. 97-365, as amended), as amended by the Debt
Collection Improvement Act of 1996 (Pub.L. 104-134, section 31001);
31 CFR 285.11, Administrative Wage Garnishment; DoD 7000.14-R,
