This is a NEW information collection request. The proposed Survey of Head Start Grantees on Training and Technical Assistance (the Survey) aims to provide ACF with representative information about Office of Head Start grantees’ experiences of training and technical assistance to inform and improve federal training and technical assistance (T/TA) services designed to support high-quality comprehensive services for young children. The survey seeks information about grantee selection and use of T/TA in the previous and current program year and T/TA needs, selection, and planning in the current program year. ACF does not intend for this data to be generalizable to a population broader than Head Start grantees, who are the intended beneficiaries of Office of Head Start T/TA activities. ACF and its contractors are engaged in various efforts to coordinate research activities and utilize administrative data in order to capitalize on relevant work conducted throughout the T/TA system and to minimize burden for grantees.
