The information collection requirement
is necessary to control physical access to Department of Defense
(DOD), Department of the Navy (DON) or U.S. Marine Corps
Installations/Units controlled information, installations,
facilities, or areas over which DOD, DON or U.S. Marine Corps has
security responsibilities. Respondants are non-DOD members of the
general public, businesses or other for profit and not-for-profit
institutions seeking to access DOD, DON or U.S. Marine Corps
Installations/Bases, installations, and facilities.
This is a reinstatement with
change to an expired collection. The Labor Cost to Respondent
burden has decreased since the previous approval. This decrease was
the result of a mathematical error in the formula that was used in
the previous approval. The formula used a pay rate of one hour and
should have used a pay rate of ten minutes of one hour.
