The Office of Medicare Hearings and
Appeals (OMHA)requests a three year programmatic clearance from the
OMB to conduct customer research through external surveys by means
of telephone interviews and web-based suveys. The proposed
information collection request covers all types of OMHA appellants,
with a primary focus on the three appellant types who receive
benefits from OMHA-beneficiares, providers, and suppliers.

Changes to the data collection
methodology, including the addition of contact attempts and modes
and the addition of web and mail surveys for data collection, will
result an adjustment; will add a total of 300.00 burden hours to
OMB’s inventory across the three years of data collection (or
100.00 burden hours each year). The total burden estimate increased
by 81.00 burden hours across the three years of data collection (or
27.00 burden hours each year).
