Subject: NonSubstantive Change for the International Price Program
(IPP) Survey
The IPP requests approval for a revised collection material (“checklist”) used by Field Economists during initiation and included in IPP’s 2015 OMB package as Attachment 15. The revisions include changes to format and the addition of the burden statement and OMB number. There are no changes to content.
The IPP requests approval to exclude the OMB expiration date from the revised checklist. With a few exceptions, the program creates a checklist for every Harmonized and Schedule B product area and the checklists are sample-specific. An IPP sample may be in collection for up to three years, and there are multiple samples being collected at any point in time. It would not be feasible to create revised checklists for all the outstanding samples when the expiration date expires.
Attached for your review and approval is the revised IPP checklists. This change does not affect respondent burden.
