Discussion Guide




Thanks for talking with us today. Just to remind you from our introductory email, the RAND Corporation and University of Colorado at Denver (UCD) are working with Health and Human Services, Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation to assess the partnership engagement process and the level of communication among partners in the Million Hearts Initiative. We identified your efforts via (report, website, etc.) and wanted to talk with you to obtain more information about your involvement. Specifically, we are hoping to gather more information about potential best practices, indicators of partnership success, and barriers and facilitators of public and private partnerships. This information will help ASPE in informing future partner efforts. We anticipate that our discussion will last about 45 minutes.


Required (Consent Procedures): Before we get started I want to assure you that your responses to these questions will be held in strict confidence, except as required by law. Summary information from these interviews, together with material taken from public documents, may be presented in journal publications or other reports; however, no specific individual will be identified by name in any reports or publications. Findings from the study can be shared with all participants. Your participation in this discussion is completely voluntary; if you are uncomfortable with any question we can skip it. This research is being funded by Health and Human Services, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation.
