The PETNet program will allow FDA and
participating members to quickly and effectively exchange
information about outbreaks of illness in both companion animals
and livestock. FDA has worked closely with its Federal and State
partners to develop the PETNet reporting portal, and believes that
information collected under this program will serve an important
function in protecting the public and animal health. Respondents to
the collection are state and federal government officials who
voluntary participate in the program.
