The Personal Information Questionnaire
is used by the Marine Corps as a standardized methodin rating
officer program applicants in the areas of character, leadership,
ability, and suitability for service as a commissioned officer. The
respondents are individuals who are familiar with the
applicants.
This is a reinstatement, with
change, of a previously approved collection for which approval has
expired. There has been a change in burden hours requested since
the last OMB approval. After reevaluating the program, it was
determined that a lower number of burden hours are required, due to
the mission drawdown.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
