My name is Brian Hewitt, and I work on the Survey Development Team here at the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). EIA is considering collapsing several distillate product categories on Form EIA-821, deleting the reporting of sales of kerosene, and collecting more detail on sales of propane. We are interested in speaking with survey respondents to assess their ability to report propane fuel sales. As part of this effort, EIA is conducting interviews with survey respondents. The attached letter explains this research project in detail.
