SSA-766 to expedite the payment of benefits to an individual who is
self-employed and who is establishing insured status. The form
elicits the information SSA needs to determine if the individual
will have the minimum amount of self-employment income for quarters
of coverage. Respondents are self-employed individuals who may be
eligible for Social Security benefits.
