1845-0052 – Affected Public – For-Profit Institutions 11/26/2014
This request is for approval of an extension of OMB information collection number 1845-0052 the reporting requirements currently in the Student Assistance General Provisions, 34 CFR 668, Subpart I. This subpart governs the Immigration-Status Confirmation, as authorized by section 484(g) of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (HEA) (20 U.S.C. 1091). The regulations can be reviewed at 34 CFR 668, Subpart I.
There is an increase in burden hours due to an increase in the number of respondents who need to present documentation to the school to be included with the G-845 form to complete the confirmation of eligibility to receive Title IV assistance. There has not been any change to the regulatory language requiring this activity.
