Under the Education Jobs Fund (Ed
Jobs) statute (Pub. L. 111-226 Sec. 101 (10)(A)), each State is
required to submit to the U.S. Department of Education (Department)
a report that describes the uses of the funds provided under the
program and the impact of those funds on education and other areas.
The statute requires States to submit these reports for each year
of the program at such time and in such manner as the Department
may require.
This is a new collection
required by law, therefore all burden is new. This program change
results in an increase in burden and responses by 840 hours and 56
responses respectively.
