The Supporting Effective Educator Development (SEED) program provides funding to national non-profit organizations for projects that are supported by at least moderate evidence to recruit, select, and prepare or provide professional enhancement activities for teachers or for teachers and principals. Eligible grant applicants for the SEED program are national non-profit organizations. For the purposes of this competition, a national non-profit organization means a non-profit organization of national scope that carries out its activities in multiple States. In addition, to be eligible for an award, the proposed project must be supported by at least moderate evidence. This competition includes three absolute priorities and two competitive preference priorities.
