The information described in this
collection is used by the agency to process letters of protest,
requests to make special, response to petition to director inquiry
letters, petitions to make special, requests to restore filing
date, and requests for reinstatement. The information is used by
the public for a variety of private business purposes related to
establishing and enforcing trademark rights. The agency has
developed a new method of electronic submission (TEAS Global) that
will standardize the information for these items. These
requirements can be found at 37 CFR 2.146.
