Attachment B4-c: Second Reminder Email Invitation to Residents
Dear Residents:
I hope this email finds you well. I am the Principal Investigator of a National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) sponsored research study of residents to assess how well an interactive online teaching module can enhance the knowledge of healthcare professionals about substance use disorders, their attitudes towards patients with substance use disorders, and their skills and degree of confidence in communicating about substance use with their patients.
I wanted to follow up on two previous emails that I sent in the past two weeks and invite you again to participate in this study. Participants in the study will receive modest gift cards as incentives. Your participation in this research study is voluntary. There is no penalty if you choose not to join the research study.
Because I have not heard from you, if you ultimately decide not to participate, I would welcome any feedback on why you decided not to participate in this research. That information would help us when planning future research studies.
