CHARTER SCHOOL AUTHORIZER ANNUAL UPDATE
The National Charter School Resource Center and the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Innovation and Improvement
are developing a national database of all charter authorizers and the schools they have chartered. This survey is designed
to gather information about reasons for charter school closures and renewals.
Answers to this survey and information gathered from public records will be entered into a publicly-available national
database and updated each year.
Your participation in this survey is important to inform federal and state efforts to support and strengthen charter school
authorizing.
